Meet Riya

A Ward 3 neighbour who believes leadership starts with listening.

Ward 3 is more than the ward I am seeking to represent—it is our home. My family and I live here, and we share the same neighbourhoods, parks, streets and community spaces as you.

I am a Ward 3 resident, Registered Nurse working in the community, wife, and mother of a son and a daughter. My work has taught me the value of listening carefully, showing compassion, understanding different perspectives and working responsibly with people.

A healthy future

For our children & youth.

Our young people deserve opportunities to be active, connected, supported and engaged. Sports, recreation, parks, community programs and safe gathering spaces help young people build confidence, friendships, teamwork, healthy habits and a stronger sense of belonging.
